TSV Graz 2022 – “Home Match” in the World Tunnel Safety League

From May 9th to 11th, the international conference “Tunnel Safety and Ventilation” on the subject of safety and ventilation of tunnel systems took place in Graz. The TU Graz event, the world’s largest conference of its kind, once again attracted almost 300 experts to the Graz exhibition center to exchange views on the latest findings and new challenges in the field of tunnel safety.

After the pandemic-related period of virtual events, this was finally the first opportunity for JES to show the devices of the new smart product line on site and in real to an international specialist audience. In the truest sense of the word, the Austrian conference on tunnel safety was now also the most nearby opportunity for an Austrian company.

smart/AQM Air Quality Monitor and smart/ECS Gas Sensor have been used in tunnels worldwide since 2021 and not only meet all the necessary digital standards, but are also well prepared for all future IoT requirements to be fulfilled by the new, smart JES network architecture.

To cover all areas of application inside and outside the tunnel, the devices will be optionally equipped with touch displays in 2.4″ and 7″ versions in 2022. With the continuous further development of the JES network architecture, further features for economy and sustainability will also play a major role in the future (minimization of costs for tunnel operation, energy efficiency).

The JES-TEAM in Graz, consisting of Georg Lienbacher (project management), Andreas Jaksch (sales) and René Jung (MD), was delighted at the great interest at the booth and, above all, at seeing our customers and partners from europe and overseas again. The direct exchange with the users of our technology, their suggestions, their feedback and their criticism help us to meet the needs of our customers. Many years of cooperation with our partners in Austria and also in Germany are the basis for the successful further development of our product portfolio. In this sense, however, the further internationalization of our business also means an improvement in our offer to the existing partner and customer network in the DACH region.

Our sales partners from DURAG Sales & Services were also represented at the booth by Mr. Marko Lazic. The development of our joint, global sales network is progressing and we are working to ensure that there are competent contacts for JES product solutions all around the world.
